Painted plein air in Yosemite looking back toward the valley near the highway 120 exit. It took almost two entire days painting to complete this large painting outdoors. Luckily the sky was grey and light was fairly consistent. The amount of water this year has been unreal, creating gorgeous waterfall shows. I feel so fortunate to have experienced Yosemite and the 2023 watershed while painting.
